Our flagship product, Socrate, is an intelligent enterprise search engine that provides fast, secure, and fully sovereign access to company information.
We are growing fast and looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our engineering team. You will help scale and optimize the infrastructure behind our cutting-edge search platform, working in a collaborative and innovative environment.
🔧 What You Will Do
✅ Develop and maintain backend services using Python
✅ Design and build APIs using Flask or FastAPI
✅ Work with authentication, caching, access control systems, and task queues
✅ Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure smooth feature integration
✅ Focus on performance, scalability, and enterprise-grade security
✅ Contribute to a containerized microservices architecture using Docker
🧠 What We Are Looking For
Minimum 5 years of professional backend development experience
Strong hands-on expertise with Python in enterprise environments
Experience with Flask or FastAPI
Knowledge of authentication systems, caching (Redis or similar), access control, queues (like Celery or RabbitMQ), and external API integrations
Experience with Docker and microservices
Understanding of performance tuning and secure backend development
Excellent communication in English with a global team

Experience with ETL pipelines or data engineering tools
Background in enterprise document or knowledge management systems
Familiarity with DevOps tools or CI/CD pipelines
